 1. Player Code of Conduct

All players are expected to uphold the values of LEAD Sports League.

• Show Respect — Treat coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials with respect at all times.
• Play Safely — Follow all safety rules, avoid rough play, and use equipment properly.
• Give Full Effort — Try your best in practices and games, show up ready to learn, and stay positive.
• Practice Good Sportsmanship — Celebrate respectfully, avoid trash talk, and support teammates.
• Be Coachable — Listen to instruction, accept feedback, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Represent LEAD Well — Behavior on and off the field should reflect leadership and character.

 2. Parent & Spectator Code of Conduct

Parents and spectators play a major role in creating a positive environment.

• Encourage All Players — Cheer positively for all athletes, not just your own child.
• Respect Officials — No yelling at referees or arguing calls.
• Support Coaches — Allow coaches to coach; avoid sideline coaching or criticism.
• Promote Sportsmanship — No negative comments toward players, coaches, or other parents.
• Follow Facility Rules — Respect fields, schools, parks, and league property.
• Model Leadership — Demonstrate calm, respect, and positivity at all times.

 3. Coach Code of Conduct

Coaches are leaders and role models within LEAD Sports League.

• Create a Positive Team Culture — Encourage teamwork, confidence, and inclusion.
• Teach Fundamentals First — Prioritize skill development, safety, and learning.
• Lead With Integrity — Be honest, fair, and consistent with all players.
• Communicate Professionally — Use respectful language with players and parents.
• Ensure Equal Playing Time — Follow league guidelines for fair participation.
• Maintain Safety Standards — Enforce mouthguard rules, safe play, and injury protocols.
• Complete Required Training — Background check, concussion training, and coach orientation.

 4. Zero‑Tolerance Behaviors

The following behaviors are not allowed under any circumstances:

• Bullying or Harassment
• Foul or Abusive Language
• Aggressive or Violent Behavior
• Discrimination of Any Kind
• Alcohol, Drugs, or Vaping at Events
• Threatening Officials, Coaches, or Players

Any violation may result in removal from the game, suspension, or dismissal from the league.

 5. Attendance & Commitment Expectations

• Be On Time — Players should arrive prepared for practices and games.
• Notify Coaches of Absences — Communication helps maintain team structure.
• Participate Fully — Players should engage in all drills and team activities.

 6. Social Media & Communication Policy

• Keep Posts Positive — No negative comments about players, coaches, or officials.
• Respect Privacy — Do not share private team information.
• Use League Channels — Follow official communication methods for updates.

 7. Enforcement & Consequences

LEAD Sports League reserves the right to take action when conduct violates league standards.

Possible consequences include:

• Verbal warning
• Parent meeting
• Game suspension
• Removal from team
• Removal from league

Actions are taken to protect the safety, integrity, and positive culture of the league.

 8. Agreement to Comply

All players, parents, and coaches must acknowledge and agree to follow the LEAD Sports League Code of Conduct during registration.
